Which report should I choose?
It depends on your property and the level of service you want. We are proud to offer several options so you can choose. Most firms only offer one of these services and so will say the other servicess are either inaccurate or overpriced - the truth is more nuanced.
If you have a simple residential property and want to minimize your costs, then you should consider a DIY or Engineer Reviewed study.
If you have done meaningful renovations, have a large or complex property, or want to save yourself time, then you should consider a Fully Engineered study with our sister brand MVO. MVO is led by expert engineers who review every report. Most other firms simply cannot offer this level of attention. We can because we are a boutique firm.

Why do you offer these different options?
We are dedicated to making cost segregation accessible to property owners of all sizes. This means offering lower cost, simpler services when the situation allows. Most firms only offer one of these services and so will say the other services are either inaccurate or overpriced - the truth is more nuanced.
Fully Engineered studies are necessary for larger residential properties and for all commercial properties. We created Do-It-Yourself (DIY) studies, under the brand Cost Seg EZ, because we wanted to democratize access to cost segregation studies. It used to be that only large investors or major property owners could afford to get a cost segregation study – now an entrepreneur with 1 AirBNB can execute this powerful tax strategy. DIY studies can be lower cost because they are for simpler situations and properties.
Engineer Reviewed studies sit in the middle. They are best when you don't have enough time to do a full study, or want our experienced engineering team to ensure your study is maximizing benefits and accuracy.
